Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2

In our world today, it has become fashionable and acceptable to be rude, mean and disrespectful. To disagree for the sake of argument. To shout down anyone who doesn’t think exactly the way we do, speak exactly the way we do or live exactly the way we do. That is the world’s way. But long before what is fashionable came along, the Word of God commanded and commands us to Love one another. The Scripture tells us not only to be humble and gentle but to be “completely” humble and gentle. This means that we are not overbearing. We do not use the Word as a club to prove our point and show others that they are wrong, but rather our approach, our tone, our demeanor is an example of Christ’s Love with the intent to draw us together so that the Word of God will be listened to and received. The Body of Christ must be unified to be effective in serving God. We are to be patient with those who are coming into an understanding of God’s Word as God is patient with us as we come into the understanding of His Word and Will for our life. Show Love, speak Love, live Love because “Love conquers all.”We all want this climate to change. It will change thru the Body of Christ. It will change with us collectively and it will change with us individually.
